The history of the company began back in the 30s, Alvaro Vanchetti started working as an assistant of an artisan, learnt the art of cutting leather, and within a few years, mastered the art of making gloves. He started the company Guanti Giglio Fiorentino at the streets of the historic center of Florence, between Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria with plenty of hard work which brought him great satisfaction.
Till date, Guanti Giglio Fiorentino continues with great passion to provide handcrafted gloves with finest leather, representing the great history of Florence and its beauty.
